-: BAIC aims to provide a central voice and focus for expressing concerns and resolving problems affecting Native Americans in Maryland.
-: BAIC sponsors weekly cultural activities designed to help youth develop self-image and self-respect; to distinguish themselves from the surrounding urban environment; and to restore pride in their rich heritage.
-: BAIC’s seniors program, for American Indians and Alaskan Natives who are 65 and older or 55 and disabled, provides a place for them to eat together, make crafts, and organize outings.
-: BAIC operates the Vera Shank Daycare Center/SECO Head Start, a culturally-based Native American program that adds to the social, emotional, educational, and physical development of children between the ages two and five.
