Main Activity Of Children’s Aids Fund

-: CAF works to limit the suffering of children and their families in the United States and around the world caused by HIV by providing care, services, resources, referrals and education.

-: CAF’s five basic tenets are: the value of early diagnosis; limiting the spread of the epidemic through traditional public health intervention strategies; a compassionate response to anyone affected, infected, or ill; the development of treatments, diagnostics, vaccines, and a cure; and addressing access to health care.

-: CAF provides tangible help to children and families impacted by HIV and has sponsored a series of seminars to promote investment in companies developing treatments, vaccines, diagnostics, and other HIV-related products with the goal of facilitating assistance to those infected.

-: CAF sponsors conferences to educate a wide spectrum of professionals and others interested in HIV disease; provides speakers for seminars, conferences, and training sessions; and publishes materials designed to be practical tools for those seeking to become involved in helping stop the spread of infection and its effects on society.
