Main Activity Of Department Of Behavioral Health, Developmental And Intellectual Disabilities

-: The DBHDID has three divisions.

-: The Division of Behavioral Health is responsible for the administration of state and federally funded mental health and substance abuse treatment services.

-: The mission of the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities is to take the lead, in partnership with other key stakeholders, in building the capacity of communities and systems to provide individually determined supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, that increase their opportunities for choice and inclusion as valued citizens of Kentucky’s communities.

-: The mission of the Division of Administration and Financial Management is to help ensure that the programs and services of DBHDID are managed in accordance with appropriate statues and regulations through the provision of centralized administrative, financial, and grant management support, and budget preparation.
