-: Undergraduate and graduate programs are science-based, interdisciplinary studies for students interested in all aspects of ecology, conservation, and environmental protection.

-: Students majoring in the Ecology and Environmental Sciences are taught and advised by faculty from five academic units, including: biological sciences; plant, soil, and environmental sciences; wildlife ecology; forest ecosystem science; and resource economics and policy.

-: Interests of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Sciences include agronomic and horticultural crops and all phases of soil science, including: soils; watershed biogeochemistry; applied ecology; and insect quantitative ecology.
