Main Activity Of Population Studies Center
-: Established in 1961, PSC is comprised of independent population researchers who pursue their own agendas with the support of the PSC cores.
-: PSC’s research, both domestic and international, can be grouped into several major areas: family formation, fertility, and children; human capital, labor, and wealth; health, disability, and mortality; population dynamics; aging; methodology; and regional studies.
-: PSC provides apprenticeship training and fellowship support to graduate students in Sociology, Economics, and Public Health who choose demography as a field of specialization; and facilitates postdoctoral training for demographic researchers in a variety of fields.
-: In addition, the PSC provides pre- and post-award research support services to affiliates through four core units: administrative, computing, information and methodology.
