Main Activity Of Research Resources Center
-: RRC’s personnel provide user access to the instruments, training on use of the instruments, and their own service and expertise in the application of the equipment for the purpose of solving of a wide range of problems for chemical, biological, and structural characterization.
-: The availability of computational and statistical services for data handling, interpretation of experimental results and data transfer, together with the accessibility of electronic and mechanical shops further enhance RRC’s mission of contributing to the research endeavor at UIC.
-: RRC’s interests include: electronic instrumentation; scanning, confocal, atomic force, and transmission electron microscopy; computer technology; nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy; environmental stress; flow cytometry; mass spectroscopy; biostatistics; and mechanical instrumentation.
-: Staff provides consulting, training, and a variety of instrumentation and shop services primarily to UIC personnel.
