-: The purpose of the MHRP is to prepare and protect United States military forces for possible worldwide deployments, especially in HIV endemic areas.
-: Research projects focus on HIV candidate vaccines and vaccine strategies, including design and construction; pre-clinical research and development; pilot lot production and human clinical safety; immunogenicity; and efficacy testing.
