Main Activity Of Utah Division Of Aeronautics

-: The Division of Aeronautics licenses all public-use airports in Utah and works closely with airport sponsors and managers to ensure that each functions as an integral part of the Statewide system of airports.

-: The Division of Aeronautics administers all State and local funding for public-use airport capital project construction and maintenance; disburses all aviation fuel tax revenues back to the airports where the fuel was purchased; and operates a small fleet of aircraft to provide transportation services to State elected officials and employees who travel around the State and to neighboring States for official business.

-: In addition to maintaining its own aircraft, the Division of Aeronautics is responsible through its maintenance section to maintain all aircraft operated by other State agencies.

-: The Division of Aeronautics also operates and maintains State-owned air navigation aids and promotes the growth and development of aviation at all levels throughout Utah.
