Main Activity Of Utah Water Research Laboratory
-: UWRL faculty work together in environmental engineering; groundwater; fluid mechanics and hydraulics; hydrology; natural systems engineering; water education; and water resources management.
-: UWRL houses the Utah Center for Water Resources Research, which administers the United States Geological Survey 104 funding program; performs coordinating roles for water research in Utah; and represents the state of Utah at regional and national levels.
-: The Environmental Engineering Division of UWRL has focused research programs in hazardous and toxic waste management; bioprocess, geoenvironmental, and natural systems engineering; management of air quality impacts; and water treatment science.
-: The UWRL Water Engineering Program is supported by state and federal research funds and includes the areas of: fluid mechanics and hydraulics; groundwater, hydrology, water resources planning and management; and ecohydraulics.
