Main Activity Of Women’s Health Education Program
-: WHEP was established to improve the health care of women by developing, implementing, and evaluating a competency based curriculum that teaches medical students, graduate trainees, and physicians the attitude, knowledge, and skills required to maintain women’s health through disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
-: WHEP serves as a clearinghouse for education, gender research, and clinical resources for Drexel University faculty and students.
-: In order to facilitate broader knowledge of women’s health and sex and gender biology among the entire medical community, WHEP created a reference collection of selected readings, including books, medical journals, videotapes, and computer software on women’s health issues.
-: WHEP staff has also developed a number of bulletin briefings on a variety of women’s health topics in order to provide a service which gives the community an efficient way to access information about women’s health.
