-: The mission of ERS is to improve the education of children and youth by providing educators and the public with timely and reliable research and information.
-: ERS was established in 1973 by four national associations of school administrators to fill a pressing need in education for an independent organization to provide reliable, unbiased information to local school districts.
-: Six national associations of school administrators are recognized as ERS Founders, with the Executive Directors of each comprising ERS’ Board of Directors.
-: These associations include: the American Association of School Administrators; the American Association of School Personnel Administrators; the Association of School Business Officials; the National Association of Elementary School Principals; the National Association of Secondary School Principals; and the National School Public Relations Association.
