Main Activity Of Division Of Natural Resources
-: The DNR’s West Virginia Wildlife Diversity Program and Natural Heritage Program are responsible for those species listed by the federal government as threatened or endangered; nongame wildlife and their habitats; and administers many outreach programs and provides vital assessment information.
-: The Office of Land and Streams is committed to preserving, protecting and enhancing the state’s title to its recreation lands for today’s citizens, visitor users and future generations.
-: The Law Enforcement Section is responsible for the enforcement of the game and fish laws and rules; caring on a continuing program of Hunter Education and Boating Safety Education; and enforcing laws relating to littering, forestry, state parks, environmental/solid waste, pleasure boating, and whitewater rafting.
-: The Fisheries Management Programs are designed to provide a variety of fishing opportunities and experiences for anglers.
