-: This mission is fulfilled through several objectives.
-: The Ergonomics Committee’s first objective is to discuss and act upon human factors issues by tracking and reporting on identified issues; by responding to AIHA Board requests to address specific issues; by preparing relevant information for publication; and by soliciting papers, organizing sessions and providing session arrangers, chairs, and monitors.
-: In addition, the Ergonomics Committee works to provide education and training on human factors and to encourage industrial hygienists to identify and describe human factors problems.
-: As a result of their work, the Ergonomic Committee produces a variety of publications.
