Main Activity Of Family Resource Center
-: The Family Resource Center features both a children’s collection and adult collection so that family members of all ages can learn about health issues.
-: Interests of the Family Resource Center include pediatrics, nursing, inheritable defects, neurological and other congenital defects, infectious and communicable diseases, hematology/oncology, immunology and allergy, cardiology, renal disease, dialysis transplantation, child abuse, pediatric emergency medicine, nutrition and wellness, and neonatology.
-: The FRC also creates customized health information packets to parents, patients, and to the public; has an online catalog of books in their collection; maintains information about local and national support groups and resources; and schedules skill-building classes for patients, families, and caregivers.
-: All services of the Family Resource Center are offered free of charge.
