-: FS4JK has three objectives: to increase public awareness and understanding of the hazards to children on the farm; to provide individuals, families, and communities with educational opportunities and resources to make the farm a safe and healthy environment; and to motivate and empower individuals, farm families, and communities to make positive changes regarding farm safety and health issues.
-: The FS4JK chapter system works as a network for conducting farm safety programs in communities throughout the United States and Canada.
-: Local chapters, which have community ownership, conduct farm safety day camps, school programs, booths, health fairs, family seminars, and more utilizing support materials from FS4JK.
