-: ICAD exists to help Canadians contribute to international HIV/AIDS work and to ensure that lessons learned from the global response to AIDS are utilized by Canadian organizations to improve prevention, care, treatment, and support work in Canada.
-: ICAD holds skills- and capacity-building workshops and seminars; undertakes and publishes research on policy and programming issues; collects documents, papers, and other resources for their resource center; offers members privileged access to the resource center collection; promotes communication between individuals, members, government departments, and United Nations organizations; and provides a forum for information exchange between organizations and individuals committed to addressing the international dimensions of the AIDS pandemic.
-: ICAD produces a variety of publications, including a quarterly newsletter; bibliographies; field reports; tool kits; policy papers; and fact sheets on topics such as HIV vaccines, developing nations, HIV/AIDS and young people, human rights, and children’s rights.
