Main Activity Of International Association For The Study Of The Liver
-: IASL focuses on the prevention, recognition, and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases, and strives to facilitate the training of experts in hepatology.
-: Objectives of IASL are: to establish, maintain, sponsor and promote programs, projects and activities which assist in the education of hepatologists in an international context.; to foster and facilitate, in an international context, basic and clinical research into liver and biliary diseases; and to act in close conjunction with its constituent associations, as well as with other health organizations and foundations concerned with liver disease, to facilitate progress towards the prevention, recognition and treatment of disease of the liver and biliary tract.
-: IASL’s members are hepatologists and specialists from other fields interested in the liver who share a global concern.
