-: Marimed Foundation serves Hawaii and the Pacific by providing a variety of residential day treatment and education services to at-risk Hawaii youth.
-: Marimed Foundation is a member of the American Sail Training Association, Hawaii Youth Service Network, Community Works, and the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce; programs are accredited by the Council of Accreditation.
-: Marimed Foundation offers programs of varying length and intensity all involving activities on the water where youth learn to operate Marimed Foundation’s sailing ship; learn marine, navigation and team-building skills including, sailing, ocean voyaging; receive individual, group and family therapy with educational and vocational services; and participate in ocean and land-based therapeutic and recreational activities including sailing, ocean voyaging, canoe paddling, agriculture, aquaculture, and culinary opportunities.
