-: MSC research focuses on: the ocean environment; marine life and its diversity; ecology; and discovering biotechnological and medical potentials in the sea.
-: Facilities include: a flow-through ambient seawater system; teaching, molecular biology, computer and research laboratories; a library; offices, a darkroom, a wet lab with flowing seawater, and a dive locker.
-: Staff answers inquiries; provides advisory and consulting services; makes interlibrary loans; makes referrals to other sources of information; and provides small-vessel pending time and space for research, including laboratory space, aquaria, and sea water tables.
