Main Activity Of National Center For Learning Disabilities
-: NCLD works to ensure that the nation’s millions of children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities have every opportunity to succeed in school, work and life.
-: NCLD advocates to ensure that: essential information is created and disseminated to parents and educators, providing help and hope; programs are developed to improve instruction, assessment and support services for individuals with LD; and parents rights and opportunities are strengthened for all individuals who struggle to learn.
-: NCLD trains teachers to be well-prepared: to work with students who learn differently; to educate the public on what learning disabilities truly are; and to provide parents of children with LD with adequate support, reliable information, and messages of hope that will allow them to advocate for their children.
