-: The purpose of NCDB is to provide technical assistance and support to assist states in identifying the needs of children, their families and educational teams; to disseminate information and services; and to provide leadership in a national effort to promote personnel training and professional development.

-: Consortium partners are: the Teaching Research Institute at Western Oregon University, the Hilton/Perkins Program at Perkins School for the Blind, and the Helen Keller National Center.
