Main Activity Of National Resource Center On Native American Aging
-: NRCNAA’s purpose is to work closely with local service providers throughout the United States to address the needs of American Indian, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian elders.
-: NRCNAA conducts research that compares Native American elders to the general United States population in order to determine the extent of existing social and health differences.
-: NRCNAA assists American Indian and Alaskan Native groups with planning, developing, and implementing their long term care services; documents, publishes, and analyzes traditional Native American recipes; and provides training to tribes on how to conduct an effective needs assessment, geriatric leadership training designed to identify and address specific areas of need, and grant writing and fund raising seminars.
