-: The Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative is a long-term, science-based effort to enhance aquatic and terrestrial habitats at a landscape scale in Southwest Wyoming, while facilitating responsible development.
-: The Carbon Sequestration Advisory Committee was created through state legislation with the main goals: of providing the state with scientifically-sound information and advice concerning management practices and economic opportunities to store carbon in Wyoming’s agricultural and forest lands; and to educate the citizens of Wyoming about carbon sequestration, through conferences, presentations, demonstration sites and published media.
-: The Conservation Districts strive to protect surface and groundwater quality; enhance natural resources; give each district definite responsibilities regarding watershed planning and natural resource management.
-: Resource Management Division provides individuals with information to monitor rangelands and provides resources to agriculture producers with technical information on how to manage sage-grouse habitat, and provides information and resources on drought.
