-: With resources encompassing the history of medicine, secondary source materials, and a multi-disciplinary collection of public health related materials, the New York Academy of Medicine Library supports an organizational mission to effect change and improve the health of the urban public.
-: As a part of its special projects, the New York Academy of Medicine Library maintains several Websites on special interest topics, including Asthma Information Outreach; East Harlem Information Outreach; the Evidence-based Medicine Resource Center; HIV/AIDS Information Outreach; the New York Online Access to Health; and the Grey Literature Report (“grey literature” refers to publications that are non-conventional, often hard to find, and not controlled by commercial publishers).
