-: PAWS trains dogs for the following types of service: hearing dogs, service dogs for people with physical disabilities, seizure response dogs, service dogs for children with autism, and guide dogs for the blind or visually impaired.
-: PAWS works to increase awareness of the need for service dogs and legal access rights for persons who depend on having service dogs with them in pets-restricted areas.
-: Many of the dogs trained by PAWS are rescued from shelters.
-: PAWS’ training center has a barrier-free two-bedroom training apartment and a state-of-the-art kennel facility with indoor/outdoor kennel runs, radiant heat in ceiling and floor, built-in high pressure cleaning equipment, a grooming room, a vet room, and 13,500 square feet of open training area.
