-: The APC Program is a network of local health departments that exist to serve the public health community.
-: Currently, eight APC sites around the country develop resources and training for preparedness and other public health concerns that affect many communities.
-: The South Carolina APC works toward the goal of bridging the gaps in emergency planning of individual groups so that whether a manmade or naturally public health emergency occurs systems respond in a coordinated, efficient and timely manner.
