-: The Substance Abuse Prevention Program supports a comprehensive array of services targeting prevention of the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs throughout Kentucky.

-: The Substance Abuse Prevention Program works with a variety of organizations and agencies to develop prevention policies, programs and services.

-: The Substance Abuse Prevention Program oversees a network of 14 Regional Prevention Centers across the state that provide technical assistance and training on evidence-based prevention strategies.

-: Kentucky’s prevention system receives funding from the federal Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), the United States Department of Education and the Kentucky General Assembly.
