-: The purposes of the UIATF are: to acquire support for, design, create, operate, and perpetuate an Indian Cultural-Educational Center as a place where Native Americans can preserve and advance their diverse cultures, and educate people about historical and contemporary Native Americans; to support the sovereignty of Native American Tribes and preserve their cultural and economic independence; and to improve the social, educational, economic, and cultural well-being of Native Americans.
