-: The goal of the CRCH is to reduce the burden of cancer through research, education, and service with an emphasis on the unique ethnic, cultural, and environmental characteristics of Hawaii and the Pacific.
-: To that end and to fulfill its mission to reduce the burden of cancer through science, and to ensure a healthier future for the people of Hawaii, the CRCH operates three active research programs in Epidemiology, Natural Products and Cancer Biology, and Prevention and Control.
-: As a National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center, the CRCH operates the Hawaii Cancer Information Service and maintains close ties with other health organizations in order to provide information to clinical oncologists and the public.
-: The CRCH administers clinical cancer treatment trials and offers research training and education opportunities for individuals ranging from high school students to practicing clinical oncologists.
