-: As the focal point for cancer-related activities in Vermont and northern New York, VCC plays an important role in the lives of the people it serves by influencing standards of cancer prevention and care across the region.
-: Cancer care is provided through patient care areas including: hematology; surgical oncology; radiation oncology; gynecologic oncology; and the Cancer Patient Support Program.
-: With partners at Fletcher Allen Health Care, VCC is developing multi-disciplinary treatment centers for specific cancers in order to enhance and provide a single point of access and care.
-: Multidisciplinary clinics (MDCs) include: the Breast Cancer Care Center; the Upper Gastrointestinal MDC; the Lung MDC; and the Melanoma MDC.
