-: The mission of the Wisconsin Medical Society Foundation is to advance the health of the people of Wisconsin by supporting medical and health education.

-: The Board of Trustees and staff strive to direct resources both to keep physicians in Wisconsin and to promote physician led community projects to improve public health.

-: Current programs in support of medical education and health education include: student loans to medical students that do not accrue interest while the student is in medical school; scholarships for medical students and those pursuing careers in allied health care professions; Summer Fellowships in Government and Community Service, which offer Wisconsin medical students the opportunity to work under the guidance of a Wisconsin Medical Society member to increase their knowledge of how the State and/or Federal government works with the medical profession to address health issues in Wisconsin; and grants for health education and research initiatives that promote lifestyle choices to improve health.
