-: Women’s Justice Center offers legal representation and legal assistance referrals, makes proposals for legislative and administrative reform, and educates women, the legal community, and the community at large on women’s rights and needs.
-: Primary concerns of the Women’s Justice Center include: sexual harassment on the job; women’s domestic and credit rights; civil rape; discrimination against women in employment, housing, education, and unemployment compensation; social security, welfare, and administrative problems of women; women in prisons; gay rights; reproductive freedom; and domestic violence.
-: Staff answers inquiries; provides advisory and current-awareness services; conducts seminars and workshops; makes referrals to other sources of information; and offers legal representation in family cases for eligible individuals.
